Our staff members at the Reems Creek Golf Club can provide instruction and lessons that can turn your game around and give you new confidence as you stand in the tee box. We have lots of options available for you from golf professionals who are true experts but are also friendly, helpful, and eager to serve you. Simply put, our staff is second to none.

Every student is different and we understand that. Our head professional Larry Carter will take into account your individual strengths in order to help you sharpen your skills to a level you've never reached before. We're eager to help beginners in the game as well as seasoned veterans. “We like to cater to students and their goals,” Carter says.

Here are our basic rates for private instruction and for our popular group clinics:   

• 1/2 hour: $45
• 1 hour $80 
• 3 half-hour lessons: $120
• Clinic: $25 per person

For those interested in going to golf school, Gwen Miller, a Class A member of both PGA and LPGA professional organizations, operates our Reems Creek Golf Academy where she offers three-day, two-day or one-day sessions. She also has private and small group lessons available.

Miller is a longtime resident of the Carolinas and has 29 years of professional teaching experience and has won numerous awards for her instruction, including honors from the Carolinas PGA Section and Golf for Women Magazine.

As you take lessons with us, you'll be practicing and learning on outstanding practice facilities. We have 30 hitting stations on our driving range as well as a practice putting green. We can do a video analysis of your swing so that you can determine exactly what will enhance your drives.

Both Miller and Carter do club fitting and can give you advice on equipment that will make a real difference in your game. Carter uses the Ping Club Fitting; Miller is certified on the Henry-Griffits fitting system. Once you've used clubs designed just for you, you will never buy clubs again without having them custom-fit to your style of play.
